Description

Before the war party reaches your gates, you hear the whistle — a black-fletched arrow loosed from the treeline by someone who has been watching you far longer than you realised.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This orc archer is built for war from the ground up. Planted in a wide, grounded stance, he draws a bone-carved longbow with complete focus — broad shoulders squared, muscular arms locked, the string pulled taut at anchor. His expression is set and cold; this is not a grunt firing blind into a melee. He picks his targets, and he does not miss.

His kit tells the story of a veteran skirmisher. A hide quiver sits heavy on his back, packed with arrows fletched and ready. His armour is layered and practical — battered pauldrons over strapped leather, furred hide across his lower half — and his belt buckle is cast in the shape of a grinning skull, the kind of dark flourish that signals rank as much as taste. The bow itself is decorated with carved organic detailing that gives it a distinctly tribal, ritualistic quality.

As a centrepiece of an orc warband or a lone flanker threatening your party's spellcasters, this miniature holds its own on the table. The sculpt also rewards painters who enjoy working with layered textures — hide, leather, bone, and metal all appear in close proximity, each demanding a different approach.

Two base options are available: a plain base for adventurers who prefer to texture and theme their own basing, or a decorative base for those who want the miniature table-ready from the start.

A great choice for adventurers who:

  • Need a ranged threat to anchor an orc ambush encounter
  • Are building out a full orc warband for their campaign
  • Want a character-rich enemy mini that holds up under close scrutiny on the table
  • Enjoy painting detailed textures — hide, bone, and leather all present on a single sculpt
  • Are looking for a display piece that conveys focus and controlled aggression

Encounter Hook

The party is crossing the Thornwood Bridge at dusk when a scout takes an arrow through the shoulder — not a warning shot, but a ranging shot. From the opposite bank, a lone orc archer steps into view, longbow raised, directing a warband emerging from the reeds to either side. He has been there since noon. He counted your party when you passed this morning. He knows exactly who goes first.
