This is Oni 03 from Yasashii Kyojin Studio, and he is a force of nature rendered in extraordinary detail. Standing broad and barrel-chested, this horned oni warrior combines the brutality of Japanese folklore with the discipline of a seasoned samurai. His expression is a snarl of ancient contempt, framed by twin curved horns and a thick war-beard. He grips a massive spiked kanabō — a studded iron club taller than most men — in one massive fist, while a katana rests sheathed at his hip, ready for when the club work is done. Layered ō-yoroi shoulder armour sits over bare, muscled torso, and a heavy rope-and-cord obi binds his robes at the waist. A billowing cloak sweeps behind him, caught mid-movement, giving the sculpt a commanding sense of weight and presence.

In your campaign, this miniature earns its place as a warlord, a regional terror, a cursed samurai returned from death, or the enforcer of a shadow court that answers to no mortal emperor. He reads equally well as a D&D Oni, a Giant-type villain, or a homebrew fiend lord in an east-Asian-inspired setting. For display collectors, the detail in his armour plating, rope work, and billowing cloak rewards careful painting — dry-brushing the kanabō studs alone will keep you occupied for a happy hour.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Run D&D 5e campaigns with Japanese-inspired or planar settings
  • Need a commanding boss monster or warlord miniature
  • Are building a collection of east-Asian fantasy miniatures
  • Paint display pieces and want a sculpt with genuine textural depth
  • Want a single imposing figure that dominates the encounter mat

Encounter Hook:
The mountain temple records name him Kazoku-no-Chi — Blood of the Clan — a once-honoured warrior bound by a pact he refused to honour. The party has been hired to recover a stolen imperial seal from his fortress. What the merchant who hired them neglected to mention is that Kazoku-no-Chi has been waiting for someone worth fighting for three hundred years, and he has just received word that capable adventurers are approaching the gate.
