This imposing bell tower ruin is a centrepiece scatter terrain piece that commands the table the moment it hits the board. Rising on four stone-carved pillars with a grand archway at its base, the structure supports a large ornate bell at its heart — decorated with a sunburst relief and hanging from a riveted beam. Skeletal figures are worked into the design throughout: two are locked into the flanking alcoves of the main structure, crouched and pinioned against the stone, while two more are suspended in hanging cage-lanterns from the crossbeams — one to each side. The whole piece reads as a warning made permanent in stone, the kind of landmark a warlord or lich erects to remind a settlement who holds the power.
The sculpt features strong architectural detailing — classical pillar moulding, crenellated upper towers, iron ring fixtures at the base, and the cage chains rendered with satisfying weight. It's a piece that rewards careful painting: washes into the recesses, bone tones on the skeletons, verdigris on the bell, and a stone palette on the tower body will bring it to life beautifully.
