This is the Old Well 01, a characterful piece of fantasy scatter terrain sculpted by Novaminis. Every surface tells a story: rough-hewn stone courses make up the cylindrical well shaft, each block slightly uneven and moss-worn. Above it, a sturdy wooden frame supports a shingled roof with individually layered wooden tiles — warped and overlapping in the way only truly old timber can manage. A turned wooden roller sits across the frame, complete with a hand-crank on one side and a small bucket hanging at the ready. The whole structure rests on a cobbled circular base that grounds it naturally in any village, town, or wilderness setting.

This is terrain with genuine depth of detail — the kind of piece that makes a player lean in and say "wait, can I use the well as cover?" — and the answer, of course, is yes. Equally at home as a focal point in a painted diorama or as a quick, evocative drop-piece on an impromptu battle map.

The party arrives in the hamlet of Millford to find the villagers gathered anxiously around the well — a faint, rhythmic tapping has been echoing up from the depths since dawn, and the rope was cut clean from inside. Whatever lowered itself down, it didn't use the crank.

Scaled to 32mm to sit naturally alongside standard miniatures and terrain. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed in place with a small amount of glue. The piece arrives ready to prime and paint, or use as-is straight out of the box. We check every piece before it goes out, though the nature of high-detail prints means minor marks can occasionally occur — these are easily tidied up.
