Description
Three decades underground will put a particular look in a dwarf's eyes — and this old miner has seen every tunnel, every cave-in, and every vein of ore the deep earth has to offer.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Leaning casually on his pickaxe with one hand on his hip, this grizzled dwarf carries the weight of a life spent in the dark. His flowing beard is worn and tangled, his clothes patched and bound with cord, his miner's helmet bearing a single lamp socket worn smooth with years of use. The expression on his face sits somewhere between weathered patience and barely concealed wariness — a dwarf who's heard every excuse and trusted fewer than he should. He's a character the moment you place him on the table.
Whether you're running him as a veteran foreman who knows where the old tunnels lead, a retired miner nursing a grudge against the guild, or a player character who left the mountain behind but never quite got the dust out of his lungs — this sculpt brings immediate narrative weight to any session. He's equally at home on a gaming table or displayed on a collector's shelf, where the detail in his beard, layered clothing, and stoic posture really comes into its own.
Well suited for adventurers who:
- Need a memorable dwarven NPC — quest-giver, informant, or reluctant guide
- Are playing a dwarf Fighter, Barbarian, or Artificer with a working-class background
- Want a character who feels lived-in and rooted in the world, not just battle-ready
- Are building an Underdark settlement, a mining colony, or a mountain-town encounter
- Love painting characterful faces and detailed clothing textures
Encounter Hook:
The party descends into the abandoned Ironpeak mine seeking the missing surveyor — but at the base of the first shaft they find old Brundar Stonespit, pickaxe in hand, refusing to budge. He says the lower tunnels are sealed for a reason. He says whatever the surveyors found down there, they were better off not finding it. And the way his knuckles whiten around the haft of that pick suggests he already knows exactly what it was.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model with a detailed base comes as a single piece; the plain-base version ships with the base detached for easy gluing. Some minor marks from the printing process are possible — these are simple to tidy up and in no way affect the character or detail of the finished piece.
