This is not a dragon caught mid-flight or rearing for battle — this is something older and more terrifying. The Old Dragon is posed in full repose, its serpentine body coiled low, vast leathery wings folded across its back, and its heavily horned head resting close to the ground. Every surface tells a story: overlapping scales shift from broad armoured plates across the body to fine, tight rows along the tail and wing membranes, with ridged spines running the length of the spine. The branching antler-like horns and the half-lidded expression suggest not weakness, but the absolute confidence of a creature that has never needed to be alert.
