Ogre Tent 01 by Novaminis
Description
The smell hits you before the camp comes into view — smoke, rot, and something worse — and then you see the tent: a hulking structure of lashed hides and bone, its roofline bristling with spikes and strung with the skulls of those who came before you.
- ✔ Resin terrain piece, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
- ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
- ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama
This is the Ogre Tent 01, a large-scale scatter terrain piece designed to transform your tabletop into a lived-in, genuinely threatening ogre encampment. The sculpt is packed with character: thick hides stretched between rough-hewn wooden posts, a spiked roofline decorated with rope-lashed skulls, draped fabric panels suggesting a dark and cluttered interior, and a low open entrance framed by heavy timber columns. Every surface tells a story — claw marks, stretched hides, crude decoration that only an ogre would call art.
Details
At 32mm scale, this tent reads as a genuinely imposing structure on the table. It works equally well as a central encounter location, a navigable piece of scatter terrain in a wider encampment layout, or a display piece that anchors an ogre-themed diorama. Painted or unpainted, it commands the table.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Are running ogre, giant, or hill-tribe encounter arcs in their campaigns
- Want scatter terrain that adds environmental storytelling, not just obstacles
- Are building an ogre encampment map for a set-piece battle or hex-crawl location
- Collect character terrain alongside their monster minis for display
Encounter Hook:
The party tracks a missing merchant's wagon to a hillside camp — and finds it stripped for parts, the timber lashed into the frame of this very tent. Inside, something large shifts its weight. The entrance curtain sways.
Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all high-detail terrain pieces, minor surface marks are possible and easily tidied up with light sanding or a hobby knife. Each piece is fully cured before it leaves us.

The cats have used their bonus action to look judgmental. As always, it was very effective.
