Description

The smells coming from the castle kitchen are either mouth-watering or deeply suspicious — and the ogre wielding a cast-iron pan the size of a shield isn't taking complaints.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Head Chef is a gloriously characterful sculpt that sits right at the crossroads of comedy and genuine menace. This barrel-chested ogre stands wide-legged and ready for confrontation, a large frying pan raised in one hand and a sharpened skewer gripped in the other. Pots and ladles hang from his belt alongside a leather apron, and his chef's toque sits jauntily atop a face that has seen both battlefields and banquets. The braided hair, stitched tunic, and sandalled feet all speak to a creature that has carved out an unlikely but entirely believable niche in your world's food service industry.

For Dungeon Masters, this mini brings something rare to the table: a monster that tells a story before a single dice is rolled. He's the volatile kitchen tyrant of a goblin warband's stronghold, the extorted head cook of a corrupt lord's feast, or a surprisingly dangerous encounter in a subterranean inn. He could be played straight as a brute — or leaned into for a session that your players will quote for years.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Need a distinctive ogre NPC beyond the standard cave-dwelling brute
  • Are running tavern, castle, or urban fantasy encounters
  • Want a boss monster with immediate personality and visual storytelling
  • Are building a painted display piece with genuine character and comic gravitas
  • Play or run campaigns where food, feasts, or hospitality encounters are a feature

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to retrieve a stolen spice shipment — but when they trace it to the kitchens of Lord Harwick's estate, they find the Head Chef mid-service, furious, frying pan already in motion, and absolutely not interested in being questioned during the dinner rush.
