This is pose 2 of our Ogre Artillerist range from Novaminis, and it carries itself with the gravitas of a creature that has never once questioned whether it belongs on a battlefield. Clad in heavy, rivet-studded plate armour with spiked pauldrons and a layered chain skirt, this ogre stands with a broad short-sword gripped in one fist and a towering war-standard planted firmly at its side. The banner itself — a tattered cloth hung from a crossbar with heavy chains and adorned with a skull finial — screams warlord retinue. Two interchangeable head options are included, giving DMs and painters the flexibility to vary the look across a force. Every surface rewards a brush: the chainmail links, the leather strapping, the scored metal plates, the grim detail of the banner's chains.
Whether this ogre is a standard-bearer for a mercenary warband, a warlord's champion, or simply the most intimidating thing your players have encountered at a crossroads, this sculpt carries genuine narrative weight — and plenty of physical weight too.

Encounter Hook:
The party crests the ridge to find a column of hobgoblins marching below — and at their head, towering above the rest, an ogre holding aloft a banner marked with a skull they recognise from the bounty board back in town. The commander isn't the warlord they were sent to stop. It's the banner-carrier. The warlord is further back. Much further back.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black display base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a drop of glue. The sculpt features two interchangeable head options. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all high-detail miniatures, minor witness marks are possible and can be tidied with fine sandpaper. Arrives fully cured and ready to prime.
