Description

They heard the ground shudder before they saw it — a wall of muscle and malice rounding the ridge, an animal skull for a helm and a bone-headed club already swinging.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This ogre is a faithful tribute to the classic AD&D 2nd Edition aesthetic — raw, savage, and unmistakably old-school. The sculpt captures a powerfully built humanoid mid-stride, thick legs wrapped in rope bindings, wearing a fur kilt and studded leather bracers. The standout detail is the animal skull worn as a headpiece, framing a snarling, fang-bared expression with flowing long hair behind it. In his right hand he carries a bone-tipped club held low and ready — the posture of a creature that doesn't need to rush because nothing outruns it anyway.

The detailing throughout is precise and tactile: the cord wrappings on his shins, the riveted bracer on his left forearm, the defined musculature across his chest and arms. This is a mini that rewards a careful paint job — deep washes in the rope bindings, contrast work on the skull helmet, and a grimy skin tone will bring out every raised detail the sculptor has packed in.

Whether you're running classic dungeon crawls, wilderness encounters, or a hill giant warband with an ogre enforcer in tow, this sculpt is equally at home on the battle map or mounted on a display shelf as a piece of nostalgia for an earlier era of the game.

A great choice for adventurers who:

  • Want a monster that looks like it wandered straight out of a 2nd Edition Monster Manual
  • Are building a giant or humanoid warband for D&D or Pathfinder encounters
  • Love painting large-scale humanoids with lots of muscular and textural detail
  • Collect AD&D-inspired miniatures for display or gaming

Encounter Hook: The party arrives at a mountain pass only to find it guarded by a lone ogre — not raiding, not wandering, but waiting. Someone hired it. The note tucked into its loincloth, written in Thieves' Cant, is addressed to the rogue by name.
