The ochre jelly is one of the dungeon's most deceptively dangerous inhabitants — a mindless predator that flows through cracks, dissolves organic matter on contact, and laughs in the face of slashing weapons by simply splitting in two. The Toadstool Weaver's sculpt captures that uncanny quality brilliantly: this is not a formless blob but something disturbingly purposeful. Sweeping pseudopod limbs arc outward from a roiling central mass, and a hollowed, gaping visage — sunken slots for eyes, a yawning vertical maw — gives the creature an almost skeletal menace. The surface is alive with flowing ridges and deep channels, the kind of tactile detail that rewards a careful wash and dry-brush as much as it rewards a bolder, blended wet paint approach.

Encounter Hook: The party descends into the lower cisterns of the ruined keep, following the trail of a missing scout. They find his armour — perfectly intact, empty, propped against the wall like a shed skin. The ochre jelly has already begun its slow slide across the ceiling above them, and the dripping they assumed was water is very much not water.
