Indelian Katarin is a force sculpted in salt and sorcery. Clad in ornate scale-worked armour etched with flowing ocean runes, this Ocean Soul Sorcerer strides forward with the calm authority of someone who has never once doubted the sea would obey him. Twin tendrils of conjured water coil around his base, crashing and churning as though summoned mid-incantation, while his long hair falls loose and wind-tossed — a man who has spent a great many nights on the open water and doesn't especially mind. His expression carries the cool focus of a spellcaster who doesn't shout his power; he simply lets the waves speak for him.
From the Blood on the Sails collection by DM Stash, this sculpt captures the rare intersection of martial and arcane — armoured enough to weather a boarding action, magical enough to end one. Whether you're placing him across the table as a tempest-wielding antagonist, a sea-born NPC with a complicated past, or your own Ocean Soul Sorcerer player character, the detail in this miniature rewards both the painter's brush and the collector's shelf equally.
Brought to your table for adventurers who:
- Run nautical or pirate-themed D&D campaigns and need a truly characterful spellcasting focal point
- Want a player character miniature for an Ocean Soul Sorcerer, sea-themed Warlock, or arcane sailor build
- Are building an NPC roster of powerful, morally ambiguous maritime figures
- Collect finely detailed display miniatures from independent sculptors
Encounter Hook:
The party's ship lists hard to port as a wall of water rises from a dead-calm sea. At its crest, Indelian Katarin walks the wave like solid ground — his expression unreadable, his armour bone-dry — and he has only one question for the crew: who sent you?
