The Obsidian Sentinel is no mere skeleton soldier. Clad in an ornate tabard etched with flowing scrollwork and flame motifs, a skull-adorned belt clasp at its waist, and a pointed ceremonial hat that speaks of courtly origins long since corrupted, this is an undead guardian with history. One hand hangs open, taloned fingers half-curled as though still reaching for something just out of grasp. The other grips a swept-hilt longsword, tip lowered — the posture of something that has been waiting, and knows you were coming. The sculpt captures a figure caught between the martial and the macabre, a sentinel that once served a court and now serves only death.
This is Pose 02 of the Obsidian Sentinel range from Great Grimoire — a slightly more relaxed stance than Pose 01, the sword lowered and the figure bearing the quiet menace of something that does not need to rush. The detail work across the tabard's reverse panel, the skull buckles at the belt, and the decorated vambraces rewards careful painting from any angle. Equally at home on a display shelf as it is on the battlefield mat.

Encounter Hook:
The party enters the grand antechamber of the Ivory Court — dust on every surface, thrones empty, chandeliers cobwebbed. At the far door stands a single sentinel in faded courtly livery, sword at its side, head tilted as though listening. It does not attack. It simply says, in a voice like crumbling parchment: "The Duke does not receive visitors without an appointment."
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. A decorative base is available — please specify your preferred option at checkout: Stair, Leafy Stage, or Standard Stage. Every piece is quality checked before dispatch; as with all hand-finished miniatures, minor surface marks may occasionally be present and are easily addressed with light sanding before priming.

We use Royal Mail Track48 for our Domestic parcel delivery. This provides you with a tracking number so that you can track your items on their way to you.
