The Obsidian Sentinel is no mere animated skeleton. This is something older and more deliberate — a warrior-wraith armoured in engraved plate, its skull-face framed beneath a peaked hood etched with a crescent moon sigil. Skull trophies hang from its belt like grim medals of service, and its flowing tabard is richly carved with swirling necromantic knotwork front and back. In one hand it carries a long ceremonial spear; in the other, a raised open palm crackling with unseen energy — the gesture of something moments away from unleashing a spell or delivering a final command.
This is pose 01 of the Obsidian Sentinel range from Great Grimoire. The figure captures a moment of poised menace — staff extended low, free hand raised, head slightly turned as though it has already located its target. The sculpt rewards careful painting, with deep surface detail across the armour panels, robes, and bone features that will respond well to washes and layering alike. Encounter Hook:
The party reaches the sealed inner vault of the Tomb of the Hollow King — and finds it already open. Standing in the doorway, spear levelled and one hand raised in warning, is a sentinel that the ancient texts described as a myth. It does not attack. It simply speaks, in a voice like crumbling stone: "The King is not yet ready to receive visitors." What the players do next will determine whether it remains guardian or executioner.

Supplied at 32mm scale, unpainted and ready for priming. Base options available — please specify Stair, Leafy Stage, or Standard Stage at the time of ordering. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin printing, minor surface marks may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up.
