Kreyvos is a force of nature captured mid-rampage — and this sculpt from Primal Collectibles makes absolutely no apologies for it. The miniature depicts the Northman in a wide, lunging combat stance, his massive double-headed axe gripped two-handed and swung low with murderous intent. Every muscle in his powerful frame is taut with exertion, and his face is locked in a full, open-mouthed roar — the kind that makes initiative rolls feel very personal.
His long, windswept hair and heavy fur-trimmed cloak billow behind him as if the mountain gale is at his back, while wrapped leather cord binds his forearms and knees over rough-cut hide garments. A thick chain medallion hangs at his chest — the only concession to adornment on an otherwise purely functional frame. The base features jagged rocky outcroppings and shattered crystal formations erupting from frozen tundra ground, giving the whole piece a sense of raw elemental energy even before a drop of paint has been applied.
Three distinct variations of this sculpt are available individually, each presenting a slightly different angle and pose emphasis — from the forward-charging axe swing of the first to the more lateral, wide-stance aggression of the second and the powerful upright roar of the third. Browse all available options and pick the pose that fits your vision.
Whether you need a fearsome barbarian player character, a chieftain-level encounter boss for your highland campaign, or a centrepiece figure for your display shelf, Kreyvos has the presence to fill all three roles with authority.
Particularly well-suited for adventurers who:
- Are playing or DMing a Norse, highland, or tribal campaign setting
- Need a barbarian PC miniature with genuine visual impact
- Want a powerful melee warrior encounter for mid-to-high tier D&D sessions
- Are building a painted display piece around a heroic, iconic barbarian archetype
- Enjoy collecting sculpts from Primal Collectibles' Tales of Kreyvos range
Encounter Hook
The mountain pass was supposed to be unguarded. It was. Until the party reached the frozen ridge and found Kreyvos standing atop a cairn of his enemies' shields, axe resting on one shoulder, watching them with the calm patience of a man who has never once worried about the odds. He doesn't speak Common. He doesn't need to. The DC 18 Persuasion check is the party's problem now.
