Description

They said the mountain pass was impassable in winter — until Kreyvos carved his way through it, axe in hand and war cry tearing through the frozen air, leaving nothing but silence and scattered enemies in his wake.

  • ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
  • ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
  • ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions

From the Tales of Kreyvos collection by Primal Collectibles comes this large-scale display bust of Kreyvos, the Northman barbarian — a hulking, bare-chested warrior mid-charge, every muscle coiled with barely-contained rage. His long, wild hair streams back as though he's already moving faster than thought, and his mouth is open in a full-throated battle roar that would give any experienced adventurer pause.

Kreyvos wields a massive single-bladed greataxe, its haft wrapped in heavy chain, gripped in a gauntleted fist. Around his shoulders sweeps a cloak of layered feathers or scales — intricately textured across every inch — that catches the imagined wind behind him, adding dramatic motion to the already kinetic sculpt. His torso is left bare, emphasising the raw physicality of the character, while knotwork accessories and chain detailing at his wrists add tribal character without softening the ferocity.

The back of the bust is equally striking: the feathered cloak cascades across the full width of the sculpt, individual feathers rendered with exceptional depth and variation. It's the kind of detail that rewards a careful painter enormously — layering, drybrushing, and washes will all bring this surface to life in different ways. The bust sits on a broad, studded circular plinth that provides a solid, display-ready base.

This is a character sculpt with genuine presence. Whether you're representing a seasoned barbarian PC, a legendary BBEG warlord of the frozen north, or simply want a centrepiece piece for your painting shelf, Kreyvos commands the space around him.

This bust suits adventurers who:

  • Play or DM barbarian-class characters and want a display-quality piece to match
  • Run campaigns set in arctic tundra, highland wilderness, or Norse-inspired settings
  • Enjoy ambitious painting projects with rich surface textures to explore
  • Want a stand-out display piece that works equally well on a gaming shelf or a competition board
  • Love large-format sculpts with genuine character and movement baked into the pose

Encounter Hook: The party has been tracking a raider warlord through a frozen mountain pass for three days. When they finally corner him at the cliff's edge, Kreyvos doesn't surrender — he turns, raises his axe, and charges straight at them through the blizzard. His war cry echoes off the mountainside. Roll for initiative.
