Northern Barbarian (Kreyvos) Bust by Primal Collectibles
Description
They heard him before they saw him — a guttural war cry tearing through the swamp mist, followed by the whistle of a blade already in motion.
- ✔ Large-scale display bust — significantly bigger than standard 32mm
- ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted — ideal as a centrepiece painting project
- ✔ Designed for display shelves and painting competitions
Kreyvos the Predator is not a warrior who waits. This large-scale display bust captures him at the apex of a downward strike — both hands clenched around the hilt of a broad-bladed sword, arms raised above his head, every muscle in his bare torso coiled with furious intent. His long hair whips behind him as though caught in the momentum of the swing, and his face is set in a full-throated roar — jaw wide, eyes fierce, utterly committed to the kill.
The sculpt rewards close attention. His forearms are bound with cord wrappings, a second blade hangs at his hip from an engraved buckle belt with a central medallion, and the base of the bust tapers to a textured column with a studded plinth — all of which gives painters a rich variety of surfaces to work across. The rear of the piece is equally detailed: cascading layers of flowing hair rendered strand by strand, the leather-backed belt with riveted panels, and the pommel of the hip blade all visible from behind.
Whether you're representing a legendary barbarian BBEG, building a dramatic centrepiece for your campaign setting, or looking for a serious painting challenge that will turn heads at a competition, Kreyvos delivers the raw, sword-swinging energy that the character demands.
Well suited to adventurers who:
- Want a dramatic, large-scale painting project with real visual impact
- Are running a dark wilderness or swamp-based campaign featuring a feared warlord
- Need a display piece that captures primal barbarian fury at its most visceral
- Collect display busts from the Tales of Kreyvos lore range
- Are entering or preparing for a miniature painting competition
Encounter Hook: The party has been hired to bring down the warlord known only as the Predator — a man who has carved a bloody path through three villages and left no witnesses. They track him to a fog-choked swamp, and as the mist shifts, they catch a glimpse of a figure standing waist-deep in brackish water, both hands raised overhead around the hilt of a long sword, a battle cry already building in his chest. Initiative is rolled before anyone says a word.
