Renaer Neverember — noble son, reluctant heir, and one of Waterdeep's most morally interesting figures — cuts a striking pose here: loose travelling clothes, a utility belt of pouches, and a curved longsword raised with the confidence of someone who has had to use it before. The flowing wrap over his shoulders and the intensity in his expression speak to a character caught between the world he was born into and the one he has chosen to inhabit. Whether you play him as Faerûn's most self-aware aristocrat or simply use the sculpt for your own roguish swordsman, the detail in the fabric folds and the purposeful stance give the miniature real presence on the table.
Two poses are captured across the product images: one with the sword levelled in a forward guard, and one with it raised overhead mid-strike — both convey the same coiled readiness. The side profile reveals subtly pointed ears and a well-defined jawline that reward a careful paint job. Equally at home in a display cabinet or on a grid map, this is a miniature that earns its place either way.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Are running Waterdeep: Dragon Heist and want Renaer on the table in person
- Need a roguish noble NPC with genuine sword-fighting credibility
- Are building a fighter, rogue, or duelist player character with an aristocratic backstory
- Want a display piece that rewards detailed painting — the layered cloth and belt pouches offer plenty of texture to work with
Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to escort Renaer to a clandestine meeting in the Dock Ward — but when they arrive at the rendezvous, the contact is already dead and a group of Zhentarim enforcers are waiting in the shadows. Renaer draws his blade without hesitation. He's done this before. He just didn't want to do it tonight.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The figure and base are separate pieces and attach with superglue — the decorative base is recommended, as some sculpts are designed to interact with it. The miniature arrives ready for priming and painting, or use straight from the box. As with all hand-finished prints, minor imperfections may occasionally occur; any small marks are easily tidied up before painting.
