Noble 01 from Novaminis captures one of the most recognisable figures in any city-based campaign — the man who holds power not through the sword, but through connections, coin, and sheer confidence. This is pose 01 of the Noble range, showing the character in a wide-legged stance, one hand on his hip and the other raised with a pointed finger mid-lecture or mid-command. He's not threatening you. He doesn't need to.

The sculpt is rich with period flavour: a long coat trimmed with heavy fur at the collar and lapels, a laced doublet visible beneath it, and studded leather boot cuffs that hint at a man who didn't always have servants. His hair and full beard are rendered with excellent texture — wavy, voluminous, and weathered — and his expression reads as authoritative without tipping into pantomime villainy. He could be your campaign's corrupt magistrate, a merchant prince mid-negotiation, a scheming duke, or the patron who just cut the party's funding.

This is variation 01 of the Noble series. If you're building out a noble household, a city council, or an assortment of political figures for your world, look out for the other poses in the range to give each NPC their own distinct presence at the table.

Well suited to adventurers who:

• Run city intrigue campaigns or courtly drama arcs
• Need a recognisable authority figure or quest-giver NPC
• Are building out Waterdeep, Baldur's Gate, Ravnica, or any urban setting
• Want a detailed painting project with strong fabric and hair textures to bring out
• Play investigation or social-pillar-heavy games where faces matter as much as monsters

Encounter Hook: The party has been summoned to Lord Aldric Vane's townhouse at short notice. He receives them standing — never seated — one finger raised before they've even opened their mouths. He tells them a warehouse belonging to a rival house has burned down overnight, that three of his own men were seen nearby, and that he requires this inconvenient truth to quietly disappear before the City Watch starts asking questions. He's not asking. His finger makes that very clear.

The cats rolled Arcana to understand why humans spend so much time on tiny figures. They failed the check. They stayed anyway.
