The Nightwalker is one of D&D 5e's most feared undead monstrosities: a towering entity of negative energy and corrupted nature, risen from the darkest reaches of the Shadowfell. This sculpt captures every unsettling detail — the bark-like sinew wrapped over skeletal limbs, the grasping talon-fingers splayed wide on both hands, and the crown of twisted antlers erupting from a hollow, featureless skull. It stands atop a dramatically layered base of coiled, fungal growth — knotted roots and blooming caps that suggest the Nightwalker has dragged a piece of the dying world up with it as it rises.
The level of surface detail on this sculpt rewards close inspection: individual wood-grain striations run the length of each limb, exposed ribbing suggests a chest cavity stripped of all warmth, and the base integrates seamlessly with the figure's root-like legs, giving the whole piece a sense of organic, creeping wrongness that works beautifully both on the tabletop and as a display centrepiece.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a commanding undead boss for a Shadowfell incursion or end-of-arc encounter
- Are running campaigns with themes of corrupted nature, blighted forests, or death domain clergy
- Want a large, visually distinctive piece that doubles as a display miniature between sessions
- Paint detailed creature miniatures and want rich, deep surface texture to work into
Encounter Hook:
The druids of the Greenmantle Circle have been disappearing one by one — each found drained of all life force, their bodies dessicated to bark and hollow bone. Following the trail of withered trees into the heart of the forest, the party discover the ancient heartwood itself is now a conduit: a Nightwalker has rooted itself at the grove's centre, feeding on the ley line beneath it, and it has been here long enough to start forgetting what it was before the dark.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. The Nightwalker comes with its detailed scenic base as a separate piece — the figure's leg roots integrate with the base, so a small amount of superglue is all that's needed for a seamless join. We quality check every piece before it leaves us, though minor marks from the printing process can occasionally occur and are easily tidied up before priming.
