Description

She trades in nightmares — slipping into the dreams of the living, harvesting terror night by night, until the soul is ripe for the taking.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Night Hag is one of D&D's most layered and unsettling villains — not a brute, but a schemer, a dealer in souls and suffering who operates across the planes with chilling patience. This sculpt by MZ4250 captures her at the height of her menace: barefoot and half-draped in flowing robes, one arm raised with two fingers extended in a gesture that could be a hex, a summons, or a curse mid-utterance. Her other hand clutches a heartstone — that iconic gem through which she peers into the ethereal and ensnares mortal dreams. Her horned crown and pointed ears mark her infernal nature, while the sneer on her gaunt face speaks to centuries of cruelty.

The sculpt rewards a careful paint job. The flowing robes offer wide, clean surfaces that take washes and blending beautifully, while the fine detail on her face, bony hands, and jewellery chain give a skilled brush plenty to work with. She'd look equally compelling as a coven leader on a dark table or as a centrepiece on a display shelf, her raised hand gesturing into empty air above her.

This listing includes both supported and unsupported variants, so you can choose whichever suits your printing setup best. Both variants are for the same sculpt — the Night Hag herself, in all her withered, calculating glory.

Particularly well-suited for adventurers who:

  • Need a fiendish coven leader or planar schemer for their campaign
  • Want a soul-trading NPC whose threat is psychological as much as physical
  • Are running a Ravenloft, Shadowfell, or Abyss-adjacent arc
  • Enjoy painting expressive, character-rich faces and flowing fabric
  • Collect iconic Monster Manual creatures to display or deploy at the table

Encounter Hook

The party wakes in the same cold sweat on the same moonless night. One by one they describe the same dream: a hag crouching at the foot of a bed, heartstone glowing green in her fist, whispering a name none of them recognise — yet. By morning, one adventurer's heartstone pendant is missing. The hunt for the Night Hag begins before breakfast.
