This is pose 02 of our Needle Blight range, sculpted by Novaminis. Where the first pose stalks and looms, this one lunges — arms flung wide in a threatening spread, weight pitched forward mid-stride, and that hollow, thorn-rimmed maw stretched open in a soundless shriek. Every inch of this creature is covered in overlapping bark-like plates and wickedly sharp spines, from the crown of its head to its root-like feet. It reads instantly as something that was never meant to be approached, let alone survived.
Needle Blights work brilliantly as a swarm encounter — several of these charging out of a corrupted forest in staggered poses creates a chaotic, genuinely threatening tableau on the battlemat. This pose, mid-lunge and wide-armed, sits beautifully alongside the other variants in the range. Equally at home on a display shelf as part of a Feywild diorama or a corrupted woodland scene.

Encounter Hook:
The party hears the snapping of branches before they see anything — then the treeline erupts. Three of them come at once, arms wide, cutting off the path back to the road. The druid recognises the corruption immediately. The paladin raises her shield. The ranger has already nocked an arrow. None of them are quite sure it will be enough.
Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base — the base comes unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Some minor marks or support remnants may occasionally be present; these are easily tidied up before priming. Supplied unpainted and ready for your brush.
