This necromantic orc warlord is a figure of brutal, death-soaked triumph. Photographed as an unpainted grey resin miniature, the sculpt shows a powerfully built orc in spiked armour raising a wickedly curved scythe-like blade aloft in one hand while cradling a cluster of skulls in the other — trophies of fallen enemies worn as declarations of authority. A flowing cape billows behind him, and bat-like wings flare outward from his back, framing the silhouette with menace. Skulls stud his belt, shoulders, and headpiece, making every surface of this miniature a storytelling surface in its own right.
The pose is mid-exultation — this is a warlord savouring a hard-won victory, not charging into battle. That distinction gives him enormous narrative weight. He works as a conquering BBEG who has just slaughtered the party's allies, a necromantic chieftain presiding over a battlefield of risen dead, or a rival faction leader whose reputation precedes him by miles of scorched earth. The detail throughout — from the layered armour plates to the individual skulls and the webbing in the wings — rewards careful brushwork and makes this a rewarding centrepiece painting project for display collectors too.
