Description

Something old and frost-bound stirs beneath the glacier — part flesh, part frozen stone, all hunger — and the mountain pass is no longer safe.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Nature Troll is a creature of the wild's worst extremes — a hulking, stooped brute whose body has merged with the frozen landscape itself. Jagged plates of ice crust its shoulders and crown, while dense thickets of frost-crystallised growth erupt from its back and arms like a living blizzard caught mid-surge. The tattered wrap around its waist is the only reminder this thing was ever anything close to civilised.

This is not a troll that shuffles. The sculpt captures it mid-lunge, one enormous clawed hand raking forward, weight pitched low and aggressive — the posture of something that has never once needed to give ground. The face, half-buried beneath ice and matted growth, carries a snarl that suggests it is irritated simply by the fact that you exist.

Mounted on a massive 76.5mm base befitting its Huge footprint, this miniature carries serious table presence. The surface texture is extraordinarily varied — smooth glacial ice, sharp crystalline spines, rough hide and knotted organic growth all compete across the same form. For painters, this is a dream of layered techniques: wet blending on the ice planes, drybrushing the crystal spines, and picking out the organic growth in deep mossy greens or bleached bone whites.

Works equally well as a centrepiece encounter monster on the gaming table or as a display piece on the painting shelf — either way, it will not go unnoticed.

Suited for adventurers who:

  • Run arctic, mountain, or wilderness encounter arcs
  • Want a Huge-sized monster to anchor a set-piece battle
  • Enjoy technically detailed miniatures with varied surface textures
  • Are looking for an imposing display piece that doubles as a gaming monster
  • Need a memorable boss-level creature for mid-to-high tier encounters

Encounter Hook: The party's guide refuses to cross the Ashveil Glacier after dark. Three days in, they find his footprints — and then nothing. At the glacier's heart, half-submerged in a frozen meltpool, something vast unfolds itself and turns its one visible eye toward them. The Nature Troll has not eaten in a season. It intends to rectify that.
