Description

She moves through the bazaar like a rumour — half-seen, wholly dangerous, her jewelled belt the only thing that catches the lamplight before she is gone.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Nashwa al-Layali is a character dripping with intrigue. Her sculpt captures her mid-stride, one hand raised to lift her veil or cast something unseen, the other loose at her side — relaxed in the way only someone very confident in their own lethality can be. Her ornate medallion belt and flowing harem trousers speak of wealth or performance, while the half-mask beneath her hood leaves her true allegiances entirely open. She could be a Charisma-focused Rogue working the spice routes, a Sorcerer whose magic manifests in gesture and misdirection, or a mysterious NPC quest-giver with motives your players will spend three sessions debating. The back of the sculpt is equally detailed — a full draped veil billowing behind her, every fold rendered cleanly.

Whether you place her at the heart of a desert city campaign, as a contact in an arcane smuggling ring, or as a recurring face in a thieves' guild, Nashwa rewards a DM who wants their NPCs to feel like people with lives happening offscreen. She is equally at home on a display shelf, where the sculpt's movement and character detail speak for themselves.

Well suited to adventurers who:

  • Run desert, Arabian Nights-inspired, or Silk Road-flavoured campaigns
  • Need a masked, ambiguous NPC who could be ally, rival, or something else entirely
  • Play Rogues, Sorcerers, or Bards and want a character mini with genuine presence
  • Collect display pieces that reward close attention and careful painting

Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking a stolen magical artefact through the labyrinthine streets of a desert port city. Every lead points to a woman described only as "the one with the coin-belt and the half-mask." When they finally corner her in a rooftop garden above the harbour, Nashwa al-Layali turns slowly, raises one hand — and offers them the artefact freely. She tells them she has been waiting. She tells them very little else.
