This is Variation 02 of the Mysterious Clockwork Device series — a tall, slender arcane-mechanical construct mounted on a wide gear-toothed base. Where Variation 01 takes a different form, this sculpt rises vertically with a central cylindrical column, flanked by a curved pipe arm and topped with two distinct dome-capped protrusions of differing heights. Segmented collar rings divide the shaft at intervals, and riveted detail runs along the base platform, giving it the feel of something built to do something very specific — if only anyone could remember what.
The sculpt has a distinctly retro-scientific character: think gnomish alchemical apparatus, artificer prototype, or forgotten construct interface. Painted in brass, copper, and verdigris, it would sit naturally in a tinkerer's laboratory, a Mechanus outpost, or the cluttered back room of an arcane curiosities shop. Left in grimy iron tones, it reads more like salvage from a forgotten ruin — something the party probably shouldn't touch but absolutely will.

And someone has recently oiled it.
