Myconid Warrior Bundle by Novaminis
Description
Deep beneath the earth, where bioluminescent spores drift like snow and the silence is broken only by the rhythm of a thousand fungal heartbeats, the Myconid warriors stand guard over their sovereign's circle.
- ✔ Multi-miniature bundle — multiple variations in one order
- ✔ 32mm scale resin, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ All pieces supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Great value for building out encounter groups or display collections
Myconids are among the most unsettling and fascinating creatures the Underdark has to offer — neither truly hostile nor easily trusted, these fungal humanoids communicate through spore clouds and defend their colonies with a quiet, alien ferocity. This bundle brings you two distinct warrior sculpts from Novaminis, each capturing a different facet of that eerie, otherworldly character. Pose 01 stands in a taut, coiled stance — broad flat cap tilted above a face that is all hollow planes and ancient patience, the body covered in overlapping scale-like chitinous plates, knobbly spore clusters, and wickedly curved claws. Pose 02 is caught mid-movement, one arm raised and splayed open in a gesture that could be a warning, a spell, or a challenge — the cap wider and more rounded, the fibrous musculature of the torso deeply textured with bark-like ridges and fungal growths. Together they make a cohesive and varied encounter group, or a striking pair of display pieces for any Underdark-themed collection.
Both are rendered as unpainted digital renders, showcasing the depth of the sculpts in clean neutral tones that let every surface detail — the gill ridges beneath the caps, the layered scales on the legs, the gnarly talon-tipped feet — read with exceptional clarity.
A great choice for adventurers who:
- Are building an Underdark encounter or Myconid colony for their D&D campaign
- Want varied poses within a single creature type to populate a fungal cavern
- Prefer the value of a bundle over picking up poses individually
- Collect or paint fantasy miniatures with rich organic surface texture
- Are looking for distinctive NPCs or monsters that feel genuinely alien at the table
Encounter Hook:
The party descends into a vast cavern cathedral, its vaulted ceiling lost in drifting amber spores. Two Myconid warriors step forward from the gloom — not attacking, but not yielding. A third spore-burst follows, and suddenly the ranger is seeing flashes of a massacre that happened here three centuries ago. The circle demands justice for the dead. The party has one hour to decide whose side they are on.
This bundle includes both Myconid Warrior 01 and Myconid Warrior 02 — two separate sculpts offering different poses and silhouettes. Both are printed at 32mm scale. Buying as a bundle offers a saving over purchasing each pose individually. Both miniatures arrive ready to prime and paint, or to use straight from the box.
