Myconids occupy one of the most distinctive ecological niches in the Underdark: sentient fungal beings who communicate through spores, form telepathic dream-circles, and regard surface-dwellers with a mixture of curiosity and deep suspicion. These scouts are the outriders of that strange society — sent ahead to observe, report, and, if necessary, defend. This bundle brings you two different sculpts from Novaminis' Myconid Scout range, each with its own distinct character.

Myconid Scout 01 is a lean, aggressive-looking variant with a sharp conical cap, wide-opening maw lined with bony ridges, broad shoulder protrusions, and heavily textured scaled limbs ending in splayed clawed feet — the pose carries a coiled, alert energy, like something caught mid-patrol. Myconid Scout 02 takes a different form entirely: taller and more upright, crowned with a wide flat mushroom cap, its body covered in dense nodular growths and spines, one clawed hand raised and tucked close to its chest. Where Scout 01 reads as feral, Scout 02 has the unsettling stillness of something that is watching and waiting.

Encounter Hook:
The party's torchlight picks out two motionless shapes at the edge of a vast underground cavern — one crouched low, spines fanned out, one standing tall with its cap tilted towards them. Neither has moved. But the spores drifting past are carrying images: flashes of the party's faces, their camp, their last three rests. The colony already knows everything. The question is what it wants.
