The Myconid Chef is one of the more unusual denizens of the Underdark: a stocky, broad-shouldered fungal figure whose wide, dripping cap hat and knotted wooden paddle suggest a creature far more concerned with supper than with strangers. Thick with texture — gnarled knuckles, layered robes bound at the waist, mushroom growths clustered across the torso — this sculpt rewards careful painting with washes and drybrushing, and reads clearly at arm's length across a gaming table. The open-mouthed cap hat alone is a remarkable detail, jagged and fleshy, framing a face that suggests mild irritation at being interrupted mid-stir.

Encounter Hook:
