This is the third sculpt in our Myconid range by Galaad Miniatures, and it leans hard into the archetype of the fungal elder — small in stature, enormous in presence. The figure wears a tall, gnarled mushroom cap like a wizard's hat, encrusted with smaller shelf fungi and pocked with organic hollows. A flowing mycelium beard trails down its chest, and its stubby legs are wrapped in fibrous bindings. In one hand, fingers are raised in an arcane gesture; in the other, it grips a branching staff topped with a hollow-eyed mushroom head that looks uncannily like a skull. The sculpt is rich with surface texture — every cap, nodule, and wrinkle rewards a careful painter.

Encounter Hook:
The party discovers a ring of silent myconids in a cavern fog thick with golden spores. Their leader — staff raised, fingers gesturing — does not speak aloud. Instead, memories begin to surface in each adventurer's mind: a warning, a bargain, and a name that none of them recognise but all of them suddenly fear.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and base are separate pieces — a small amount of superglue is all that's needed to assemble them. The decorative base complements the sculpt and some elements of the figure interact directly with it, so we recommend using it. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all high-detail resin miniatures, minor marks may occasionally remain but are straightforward to clean up. The figure arrives fully cured and ready for priming, painting, or straight to the table.
