This is Myconid 02, the second sculpt in Yasashii Kyojin Studios' myconid range, and it cuts a distinctly alien silhouette. A broad, fan-shaped cap — striated like carved wood or dried membrane — crowns a narrow waist that flares downward into a skirt of open latticed tissue, riddled with circular voids. Beneath that lattice, stubby rootlike legs carry the creature forward with a patience that seems geological. There is nothing humanoid about it. It belongs to the Underdark the way mould belongs to stone.
At 46mm, it sits taller than a standard 32mm figure, which suits its role as a senior sovereign, a spore druid elder, or simply a creature that makes your players quietly reassess their life choices. The organic mesh of the lower body is a painter's delight — deep shadows in each void, pale highlights along each ridge — and the fan cap offers broad flat surfaces for wet blending or zenithal priming effects. Equally striking left unprimed as a display piece.

Encounter Hook:
The party follows the spore-trails deeper into the cavern until they find the Sovereign — not seated on a throne, but standing motionless in the centre of a dead grove, cap tilted skyward. It has been broadcasting a single memory into the spores for a hundred years. Now it wants someone to tell it whether the memory is real.

What's included:
One Myconid 02 miniature at 46mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — base is supplied unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Support marks are removed as standard; minor imperfections inherent to the print process may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up.
