Description

Deep beneath the stone, where no sunlight has touched in an age, the spore-speakers hold court — and this one has opinions.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This myconid mini from Galaad Miniatures captures the fungal folk at their most characterful: compact, confident, and faintly unsettling. The oversized mushroom cap dominates the silhouette, studded with raised bumps and split by a narrow, half-lidded face that suggests ancient patience rather than aggression. One hand rests on a hip with a kind of indignant authority, while the other grips a gnarled staff topped with smaller mushroom growths — a druidic walking stick or a spore-magic focus, depending on how your session is going. Layers of tattered fungal cloth hang from the body, with shelf mushrooms clustered around the legs and torso, adding texture and depth that rewards careful painting.

Whether you're statting this out as a myconid sovereign, a druid of the spores, or a strange underdark NPC with motives the party can't quite parse, this sculpt carries real personality. It works equally well as a gaming piece on the battlemat and as a display mini on the shelf — the level of sculpted detail makes it a genuine painting project for hobbyists who enjoy working with organic, earthy textures.

Perfect for adventurers who:
  • Are running Underdark arcs and want characterful fungal folk on the table
  • Need a myconid druid, sovereign, or spore-touched NPC for D&D 5e
  • Enjoy painting organic textures — fungi, bark, and layered cloth
  • Want a display piece that doubles as a playable miniature

Encounter Hook:
The party descends into a vast subterranean cavern to find a single myconid waiting at the centre, staff planted in the earth, spores drifting upward in slow spirals. It does not speak aloud. Instead, memories begin to surface — ones that don't belong to any of the adventurers. The myconid has been waiting for exactly this party, for reasons that won't make sense until it's far too late to leave.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and base are separate pieces — a small amount of superglue will bring them together securely. The base is an integral part of the composition and the sculpt interacts with it, so we recommend attaching both. Arrives ready to prime and paint, or use straight from the box as an unpainted grey mini.
