Description

It did not attack — it simply stood there, staff in hand, hollow eyes fixed on the party, spores drifting from beneath its honeycombed cap like a slow and deliberate warning.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This Mushroom Warrior is no shambling cave growth. Hunched low with gnarled, root-like legs and a deeply textured morel cap that dominates its silhouette, this sculpt radiates the kind of ancient, territorial menace that makes the Underdark feel genuinely alive. The scowling face — part fungus, part fury — peers out from beneath the cap with unmistakable intent, while one clawed hand grips a weathered wooden staff with the confidence of a creature that has held its ground for centuries. The surface detail across both the cap and the body is extraordinary — every ridge, pit, and fibrous line catches the light and rewards the painter who takes their time with it.

Whether you're running a myconid colony encounter, populating a forgotten cave system beneath your players' feet, or simply want a striking piece of weird fantasy on your display shelf, this warrior carries real presence at 32mm scale. It works equally well as a wandering monster, a colony guardian, or a bizarre and unsettling NPC whose motivations the party will never quite trust.

This miniature suits adventurers who:

  • Are building Underdark adventures and want encounters that feel genuinely alien
  • Run myconid colonies, fungal cults, or spore-touched wilderness campaigns
  • Collect fantasy creatures with strong, distinctive silhouettes
  • Enjoy painting miniatures with deep organic texture and natural colour palettes
  • Want a display piece that provokes the question: what exactly is that?

Encounter Hook:
The party tracks a missing merchant into the deep caves — and finds him standing motionless among a circle of mushroom folk, eyes glassy, breathing slow. The largest of the myconids turns to face the adventurers, staff raised not in threat but in invitation, and the air fills with a sweet, heavy scent that feels uncomfortably like forgetting.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and base are separate pieces — attach with a small amount of glue. The decorative base complements the sculpt and we recommend including it, as the two elements are designed to work together. Supports are removed prior to dispatch; as with any hand-finished print, minor marks may occasionally remain and can be tidied up before priming. Arrives ready for priming and painting, or use straight from the box.

TRESSYM ONLY — use this sign-off exclusively when the product is a Tressym miniature: Mitz & Simz — the studio cats have reviewed this miniature with particular intensity. They are aware of what a Tressym is. They have thoughts. The wings are noted. Nothing further will be said on the matter.
