It does not run. It does not tire. It simply walks towards you — strips of ancient linen trailing, eyes burning with a purpose that has outlasted empires.

- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This is the second pose in our Mummy range by MZ4250, and it captures the creature at its most menacing: mid-lunge, one grasping hand extended and pointing with eerie deliberation, the other resting on a bent knee as if bracing for the inevitable. Tattered bandages wrap every limb, worn through at the knee to reveal the desiccated form beneath. The face is exposed — a snarling mouth under a thin moustache — giving this undead guardian a distinctly human fury that makes it feel genuinely unsettling rather than merely monstrous. The pose reads immediately on the tabletop: this creature is not shambling. It is coming for someone specifically.
Mummies in D&D 5e are no mere decoration — their Dreadful Glare can paralyse a fighter in their tracks, and their Rotting Fist carries a curse that resists magical healing. Whether you're running a desert tomb crawl, a Ravenloft-adjacent horror campaign, or simply want a striking undead guardian that rewards a closer look, this sculpt earns its place in your encounter rotation and on your display shelf in equal measure.
For adventurers who:
- Run desert tomb encounters, cursed ruin delves, or ancient civilisation story arcs
- Want a mummy miniature with a clear, readable pose and strong character expression
- Are building an undead warband or a themed monster collection
- Enjoy painting heavily textured wrappings, exposed skin, and layered decay effects
- Collect display pieces as well as gaming minis
Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to retrieve a jade amulet from the tomb of a long-dead vizier. They find it easily — placed deliberately on an altar, clearly bait. As the rogue reaches for it, a finger on the far wall begins to point directly at her. The bandaged figure steps out of a niche that wasn't there a moment ago, and it is pointing at her with a certainty that suggests it already knows her name.
Details
