Description
It does not roar, it does not rage — it simply rises from the earth, dragging the ground itself into something that hungers.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Some elementals are called. Others simply accumulate — pressure and wet earth and centuries of slow malice finding a shape at last. This Mud Elemental is that shape: a hunched, bloated form barely contained by the clinging mass of muck and jagged crystalline protrusions that serve as its body. The sculpt captures something deeply unsettling — a creature that looks almost like something you'd recognise, if only the proportions weren't quite so wrong. One heavy arm braced, the other trailing fingers of cracked earth, it lumbers forward with the patience of a thing that has never needed to hurry.
Whether you're running a corrupted wetlands encounter, a planar incursion gone wrong, or a dungeon flooded with something far older than the dungeon itself, this miniature brings a genuinely unnerving presence to the table. Equally at home on a display shelf as a centrepiece of environmental horror, it's a sculpt that rewards close attention — and a careful painter.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a distinctive elemental monster for D&D 5e, Pathfinder, or any fantasy TTRPG
- Are building wetlands, swamp, or corrupted-earth encounter tables
- Want a display piece that reads as genuinely threatening from across the room
- Are painting character studies in earthy, textured colour palettes
- Are Dungeon Masters who like their monsters to feel like a natural disaster with intent
Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking the source of the fouled river for three days. They find it in a collapsed mill cellar — the waterwheel still turning, churning something thick and brown that has begun, slowly, to stand up.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. The model with a detailed base is supplied as a single piece, base attached. The model with a plain base is supplied with the base separate, ready to attach with a small amount of glue. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming — the detail on the crystalline spurs and the flowing mud texture takes washes and drybrushing particularly well.
