Description
The thunder of hooves on cobblestone announces him before he crests the hill — a crowned skull beneath a visored helm, warhammer raised, and a severed head mounted on a pike beside him like a trophy from a war that should have ended centuries ago.

This is no mere skeleton warrior shambling from a crypt. The Death Knight Mounted is a creature of terrible purpose — a once-great champion whose soul was bound to undeath by oath, curse, or the will of a dark god. Astride his chained and barded warhorse, he carries a round shield etched with swirling knotwork and wields a flanged warhammer mid-swing. Every detail speaks of former honour twisted into something far more dangerous: the crownwork on his helm, the heavy chains wound around his mount, the skull medallion on the horse's flank, and the pike bearing a defeated enemy's head planted at his feet on the rubble-strewn base.

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the village of Ashenveil to find it already burning. At the far end of the main road, silhouetted against the flames, a mounted figure sits motionless atop a pale horse wrapped in chains. Hanging from a pike beside him is the head of the lord the party was sent to protect. He turns his crowned skull toward them and says, simply: "You're next."
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The miniature and decorative rubble base are provided as separate pieces — a small amount of glue is all that's needed to assemble them, and the base is designed to interact with the model's composition, so we strongly recommend using it. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming. As with all hand-finished pieces, minor surface marks are possible and easily tidied with fine sandpaper or a hobby knife.
