This Mountain Troll is an absolute brute of a sculpt from Stormborn Collectibles — a massive, barrel-chested giant mid-charge, hoisting a crude spiked log over one shoulder like it weighs nothing. His maw is stretched wide in a feral snarl, rows of crooked teeth bared, and his free hand is fitted with a vicious spiked gauntlet. Ragged cloth hangs from his waist, a single leather strap crosses his chest, and his hunched, lurching stance makes him look like he's already committed to whatever he's about to do. Skulls scattered across the sculpted rubble base suggest the adventurers who came before you didn't fare especially well.
The detail throughout is exceptional — deep skin folds across his belly and shoulders, ropy sinew in the forearms, individual spikes on his shoulder guard and gauntlet, and knots of rope and bark on the log weapon. This is a miniature that earns its place at the head of a bandit warband or as the sole occupant of a mountain pass that nobody crosses twice. Equally at home on a display shelf as it is looming over your encounter map.

Encounter Hook:
The merchant trail through the Greypeak Pass has been closed for three weeks. The militia sent to investigate never came back. When the party finally reaches the boulder-strewn mouth of the pass, they find the militia's wagon — overturned, splintered, and still being used as a club by something very large that just noticed them.

What's included: Printed at 32mm base scale — though as a BBEG creature, the Mountain Troll runs impressively large, as intended by the artist. The miniature arrives ready to prime and paint, or to use straight from the box as an unpainted grey miniature. Some assembly may be required; parts attach cleanly with superglue.
