Description
Where the moonlit glades grow silent and the spiralling runes beneath your feet begin to glow, the Moth Queen descends — antlered helm raised, great patterned wings spread wide, and something ancient in her eyes that has never once known fear.
- ✔ Display-scale miniature — larger than standard 32mm gaming scale
- ✔ Resin printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Equally suited to display shelves and the gaming table
This large-scale miniature captures the Moth Queen mid-ascent, perched atop a gnarled and twisting branch emerging from a richly detailed runic base scattered with wild undergrowth. Her great moth wings — each etched with layered eye-spots and swirling organic markings — sweep dramatically outward, while her free hand carries an ornate staff and the other trails with quiet, deliberate intent. She wears structured armour beneath flowing robes, and her horned helm is crowned with feathered or antennae-like protrusions that lend her the unmistakable bearing of a fey sovereign. This is a sculpt built for presence — at the head of an encounter table or anchoring a display shelf, she commands the room.
In D&D terms she slots comfortably as a Fey archfey, a BBEG druid-queen, or the enigmatic ruler of a moonlit court whose bargains always cost more than they appear to. She's equally at home as a neutral force of wild magic, a villain with genuine conviction, or a patron whose motivations remain frustratingly opaque until act three.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a large-scale Feywild BBEG or archfey encounter centrepiece
- Are building an enchanted forest or moonlit court campaign arc
- Want a display-scale piece that rewards careful painting — the wing detail is extraordinary up close
- Are hunting for a miniature that works as both a game piece and a collector's display figure
Encounter Hook:
The party has tracked the missing children of Ashenvale for three sessions — and now, in a clearing ringed by luminous runes and silent moths the size of ravens, they find them unharmed, asleep at the feet of a figure who turns slowly and says, without malice: "They asked to stay. You may ask me anything. Once."
The Moth Queen is a large display-scale miniature — her base measures 80mm, making her considerably larger than a standard 32mm character mini and well suited as a boss centrepiece. She arrives with her decorative base detached, ready to be fixed in place with a small amount of glue. She comes unpainted and ready to prime — though she's equally striking displayed as-is.
