Mormesk the Wraith by The Toadstool Weaver
Description
Once a powerful mage-priest, Mormesk lingers between life and oblivion — his skeletal form draped in the ceremonial robes he refused to relinquish even in death.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This sculpt captures Mormesk mid-manifestation, arms outstretched and bony fingers splayed wide, his jaw locked open in a silent shriek. The flowing robes are richly detailed with carved geometric sigils and layered draping fabric, giving the impression of a figure caught mid-glide — neither fully corporeal nor fully gone. It's a characterful take on the wraith archetype: part undead sorcerer, part cursed noble, entirely threatening.
Whether you're running the classic Lost Mine of Phandelver and want a faithful centrepiece villain, or simply need a commanding undead spellcaster for your own campaign, Mormesk brings real presence to the table. He's equally at home as a painted display piece or placed directly on the battlemat to signal that things just got considerably worse for your party.
Well suited to adventurers who:
- Need a named undead villain or boss monster with genuine presence
- Are running Lost Mine of Phandelver or a similarly dungeon-crawl-heavy campaign
- Want a wraith or lich-type NPC that reads clearly across the table
- Enjoy painting undead miniatures with layered robes and expressive skeletal faces
- Collect display pieces from the wider undead and necromantic range
Encounter Hook:
The party locates the Wave Echo Cave's forge chamber — and finds it already occupied. Mormesk drifts from the shadows, robes trailing across the stone floor, one hand raised in a gesture that might be warning or invitation. He has been waiting here for a very long time, and he is done being patient.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black display base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed in place with a small amount of hobby glue. As with all hand-checked resin prints, minor surface marks are occasionally possible; these are straightforward to clean up before priming.
