Description

Somewhere beneath a planar fortress, a lone Monodrone carries out its final directive — the wizard who issued it died three centuries ago, and the machine simply hasn't noticed yet.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Monodrone is the lowest rank of the Modron hierarchy, but don't let that fool you — these clockwork constructs execute their programming with relentless, single-minded efficiency. This sculpt from Monster Atlas captures everything that makes a Monodrone so unsettling on the tabletop: the riveted spherical body, the gimbal-mounted mechanical wings fanning out like blades from a gear assembly, the spindly jointed limbs, and a short sword gripped in one articulated claw-hand. The central eye aperture and ring fitting on the body read as both functional and vaguely ominous — a machine that watches, remembers, and obeys.

Available in three distinct poses, this listing offers a front-facing stance, a dynamic three-quarter angle showing the wings mid-adjustment, and a side-on view with the blade lowered — making the set worth displaying together as a patrol unit, or using individually across multiple encounters. Each pose is a digital render shown in a warm brass tone, giving you a clear look at the sculpt's detail before priming.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run Planescape, Mechanus, or any campaign touching the Great Wheel cosmology
  • Need construct encounters for an artificer-heavy or dungeon-crawl campaign
  • Want a legally distinct but thematically unmistakeable Modron for their Dungeon of the Mad Mage sessions
  • Collect mechanical and clockwork miniatures for display or diorama use

Encounter Hook:
The party enters the abandoned observatory and finds it spotless — preserved by three Monodrones that have been cleaning, cataloguing, and standing watch since the Archmage's disappearance forty years ago. The machines greet the adventurers with a flat recitation of trespass protocols. Compliance is expected. Non-compliance will be logged.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The miniature and its base are separate pieces, best attached with superglue — the base is designed to complement the sculpt and the two are worth pairing together. Three distinct poses are shown across the product images. Printed to a high standard and ready for priming and painting straight out of the box, or display as-is.
