Description

Between one breath and the next, the blades are already moving — two swords finding their lines before the enemy has even registered the danger.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This monk miniature captures something that a lot of martial-arts sculpts miss: the quiet ferocity of a fighter who doesn't need armour because positioning is the armour. He's planted in a wide, low combat stance — weight forward, both swords raised and crossed at the guard — every muscle in that bare torso locked and loaded. The flowing sash and wide trousers billow around legs that clearly aren't going anywhere, giving the sculpt a dramatic sense of momentum held just barely in check.

The head is shaved, the expression set hard with absolute focus, and a string of beads at the neck is the only adornment on an otherwise stripped-back fighter who has pared everything down to essentials. One sword is broad and heavy; the other, slender and fast — a pairing that speaks to a character built around offence and tempo rather than defence and attrition. Painters will find plenty to work with here: skin tones, fabric folds, blade finishes, and that bead detail all reward deliberate brushwork.

Available with or without a decorative base — choose the plain base option if you prefer to create your own scenic groundwork, or go with the decorative base for a ready-to-display finish straight off the prime coat.

This miniature comes with both supported and unsupported print files available, so whatever your setup, the print is designed to come out clean.

A great choice for adventurers who:

  • Play a Way of the Open Hand, Kensei, or Drunken Master monk and want a sculpt that reads as a dual-weapon specialist
  • Need a sharp-edged martial arts NPC — a wandering swordsman, a mercenary duelist, or a fallen temple guardian
  • Are building a display piece and want a sculpt with strong silhouette and clear focal points for colour placement
  • Run campaigns with an Eastern or wilderness flavour and want a monk that fits the aesthetic

Encounter Hook

The party has been hired to retrieve a stolen relic from a mountain monastery. When they finally find the thief, it isn't a rogue — it's the monastery's own head swordmaster, bare-chested and blades already drawn, standing between the party and the door with an expression that makes it clear he has already decided how this ends.
