Monk (Kotta Terran - Earthen Vanguard) by DM Stash
Description
Where others seek inner stillness, Kotta Terran has forged his discipline into something immovable — a living wall of earth, bone, and iron will.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Kotta Terran is no wandering ascetic. This is a warrior whose monastic tradition has been hammered into armour — literally. He stands in a low, forward stance, arm outstretched and ready to receive a blow, his massive tower shield raised beside him. That shield is the piece that defines him: enormous, angular, and crowned with a grinning skull framed by wings, it speaks of a death-touched order that has made peace with mortality and weaponised it. His coat and bracers are dense with geometric knotwork and runic engraving, layered over articulated plate and a scale-covered pauldron. Stone crystals erupt from the base beneath his feet, as though the earth itself pushes upward to meet him.
Every angle of this sculpt rewards a close look — the filigree bracers, the ribbed back-plate, the textured kilt panels, the cracked stone scatter on the base. He works equally well as a disciplined PC monk (Way of the Open Hand or a homebrew earth-bound subclass fits beautifully), a monastic order guardian, or a memorable NPC enforcer standing between the party and something they very much want.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Play a monk PC with a martial, armoured aesthetic rather than a robes-and-fists one
- Need a named NPC guardian protecting a temple vault, a holy relic, or a sealed passage
- Want a display piece with layered detail that rewards careful painting
- Are building a monastic order with a death or earth theme in their campaign setting
Encounter Hook:
The party follows rumours of a sealed vault beneath the Terran Monastery — but when they arrive, Kotta himself blocks the passage, tower shield forward, expression unreadable. He does not attack. He simply says: "You are not ready for what is behind me." Whether he is a test, a warning, or the final obstacle is entirely up to your table.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The decorative crystal and rubble base is included as a separate piece and fits best attached with a small amount of superglue — the model's stance is sculpted to interact with the base terrain. Pre-supported files were used in production. As with all hand-finished pieces, minor marks from support removal may occasionally be present and are easily tidied before painting.
