Mongrelfolk — the tragic Belviews — are among the most haunting figures in the Ravenloft setting. Warped by generations of dark experimentation, they linger in forgotten corridors and lightless cells, somewhere between pitiful and threatening. This is pose 6 of the Belviews range by Yasashii Kyojin Studio, and it captures that unsettling duality beautifully. The hunched figure clutches something writhing and thorned to its chest beneath flowing robes, a thick braided rope trailing from the cloak like a leash — or a tether. A second, more aggressive variant stands alongside in the product images, arms spread wide, that same braided rope framing a face twisted into a grimace. Encounter Hook:

When the rogue approaches with a torch, the figure slowly turns — and the party realises with dawning horror that the rope isn't a restraint. It's growing from it.

Available with or without a plain black display base — the base comes unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Support marks are removed during post-processing; occasional minor surface marks may remain as a natural part of the printing process and are easily addressed during prep and painting.
