Description

They came from the bowels of Castle Ravenloft — part man, part beast, carrying their misshapen lives with a dignity that makes them all the more unsettling.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Mongrelfolk, known among the tormented as the Belviews, are among the most evocative and tragic figures in the Ravenloft setting. This set captures two of them with remarkable specificity: the first is seated, a fiddle resting at his side and a jug at his cloven hooves, bearing the vacant gaze of his smaller parasitic second head with weary familiarity. The second crouches forward in a more aggressive stance, clutching what appears to be a curved implement, his vestigial companion head peering over one shoulder. Both figures wear rough robes belted with rope, and both carry that unmistakable quality of creatures who have suffered too long to be merely monsters.

These are sculpts with genuine character and narrative weight — the kind of miniatures that prompt your players to ask questions rather than simply roll for initiative. Equally at home on a gaming table in a Curse of Strahd campaign or displayed as a piece of dark fantasy art, they reward careful painting and reward the collector who appreciates the strange and sorrowful corners of fantasy lore.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run Curse of Strahd or other Ravenloft-set campaigns and want faithful, atmospheric NPCs
  • Need deeply characterful humanoid monsters that feel tragic rather than simply threatening
  • Enjoy collecting dark fantasy sculpts with genuine narrative presence
  • Want a centrepiece NPC that will make their players genuinely uncomfortable — in the best way

Encounter Hook:
The party has followed rumours of music drifting from the asylum's lower level. There, by the light of a single tallow candle, one of the Belviews sits scraping a cracked fiddle, while across the room another crouches over something the players cannot yet see. Neither acknowledges the intruders. The music does not stop.

Both miniatures are scaled to 32mm and are supplied unpainted and ready for priming. A plain black base is available as an optional add-on and comes unattached — a small amount of glue will fix it securely. Some minor imperfections from the printing process are possible; any leftover support marks can be removed with a hobby knife or fine file.
