This is pose 4 of our Mischievous Imp range from Great Grimoire, and it's one of the most characterful of the set. This imp is caught mid-lunge, one clawed hand reaching forward and the other gripping a short dagger, its wide maw open in a savage snarl. Sweeping ridged horns curl upward from its scaled head, and a long serpentine tail coils down behind it. Most tellingly, it stands atop a cluster of skulls — trophies or warnings, your Dungeon Master can decide. The sculpt is packed with small details: the texture across its torso and limbs, the ragged wrap at its waist, and the sheer malicious energy in its posture.
Whether you're deploying this as a servant of an archdevil, a summoned familiar gone rogue, or a recurring nuisance haunting the party's warlock, this imp brings instant presence to the table. It works equally well as a painted display piece — the detail in the face and horns alone rewards careful brushwork.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a charismatic, threatening imp for D&D 5e or other TTRPG encounters
- Are building infernal or abyssal encounter tables with real visual variety
- Want a villain's familiar or a petty fiend with outsized personality
- Paint and collect dark fantasy miniatures for display as well as gameplay
Encounter Hook:
The warlock swore the imp was bound — but three mornings running, the party's scouts have been found stripped of their rations and their boot buckles, alive but furious. Tonight, crouched atop the wagon's roof in the firelight, it finally shows itself: dagger in hand, grinning, daring someone to do something about it.
This miniature is scaled to 35mm. If you'd prefer 32mm scaling, just send us a message and we'll adjust it for you. A decorative base can be added at checkout — three options are available: a Lava Scene, a Bone Scene (skulls and scattered remains), or a Pentagram Scene (arcane summoning circle with ritual markings). Please include a note with your order stating which base you'd like. The base is supplied separately and attaches easily with a small amount of glue. A plain black base is included as standard.
