This is Pose 01 of our Mischievous Imp range, sculpted by Great Grimoire. The imp crouches in a low, predatory stance, bat-like wings spread wide and barbed tail curled beneath it — every inch the contemptible little fiend it is. It hefts a broad-bladed battle axe with unsettling confidence for something its size, and its snarling, fang-baring expression makes clear it has absolutely no intention of being reasonable about any of this. Chain links hang at its chest, hinting at a creature recently unbound — or one that simply carries its own chains as a reminder of grudges past.
In D&D 5e, imps are CR 1 creatures classified as fiends — small enough to be overlooked, cunning enough to be dangerous, and chaotic enough to cause real problems when a warlock loses control of one. This sculpt captures that sneering, anarchic energy brilliantly, making it equally at home swarming the party as a Warlock Familiar gone rogue or lurking in the employ of an archdevil as a minor enforcer. Three atmospheric bases are available separately — a bone-strewn hellscape, a skeletal ruin scene, or an arcane pentagram — each one adding real narrative weight to the final piece. Brilliant for gaming and display alike.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a fiend encounter that feels genuinely threatening despite the creature's small stature
- Are building an infernal or cult-themed campaign arc
- Want a characterful Warlock Familiar on the tabletop
- Collect and paint fantasy miniatures for display
Encounter Hook:
The warlock's familiar has been missing for three days. The innkeeper's cat is also missing. The villagers report something with wings has been seen stealing from the market at night — and last night, someone's wood-chopping axe went with it. Whatever crawled back through that ritual circle, it's been making itself at home.
