This is pose 01 of the Minotaur of the Labyrinth's Depths range by DM Stash, and it captures the creature mid-stride with a raw, coiled menace. A heavy chain wraps around the minotaur's body and wrists, its end weighted with a brutal stone block that swings like a flail — clearly not a weapon forged, but one seized. The sculpt leans into dense, matted fur across the torso, legs, and shoulders, while a scale-trimmed belt and wrapped bracers hint at something almost ritualistic about this beast. The horned bull's head is lowered with intent, and the rocky, fractured base adds the sense of labyrinth floor crumbling underfoot.
Whether you're placing this as the guardian at the heart of a dungeon, a cursed champion bound in servitude, or a wandering horror encountered mid-maze, this sculpt carries narrative weight on its own. Encounter Hook:
The party discovers a trail of broken chains leading deeper into the ruin — each link snapped not by tool, but by sheer force. At the lowest level, they find a chamber where the walls are scored with tally marks carved at chest height. The minotaur stands at the far end, its back to them, methodically dragging its chain-flail across the floor. It hasn't noticed them yet. It's counting.
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and scenic rocky base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with superglue — and the base and figure are sculpted to interact, so the join is well worth taking the time over. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming. Minor print marks are possible and can be cleaned up before painting; every piece is quality checked before dispatch.
