This is pose 2 of our Minotaur Mauler range by Novaminis, and it captures a warrior mid-stride, shield raised and broad axe trailing behind — the stance of something that has done this before and sees no reason to rush. The sculpt is richly detailed: riveted plate armour across the chest, layered bracers wound with chain, a horned bull-skull helm, and cloven hooves that seem to shake the ground beneath them. Every angle rewards a closer look, from the studded apron at the waist to the ornate boss on that wide, battered shield.
Whether you're placing this bruiser at the heart of an underground arena, running it as a cursed champion in a labyrinthine dungeon, or positioning it on a display shelf to anchor a collection, the sculpt has the weight and presence to hold the scene. Collectors and painters alike will find plenty of texture and depth to work with — the horns, the armour panelling, and that raised shield all take contrast paint and layering beautifully.

Encounter Hook:
The party has cornered the cult's champion in the lowest chamber of the old amphitheatre — but as torchlight catches the scarred shield and slow, deliberate footstep approaching from the dark, the Fighter quietly asks whether anyone remembered to memorise the layout of the exits.
Scaled to 32mm and supplied unpainted, ready for priming. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed in place with a small amount of glue. As with all hand-finished pieces, minor surface marks may occasionally occur; these are easily tidied up before painting.
