Description

Born from the unholy fusion of a beholder's dominating will and a mind flayer's psychic hunger, the Mindwitness drifts through the Underdark as a living instrument of elder evil.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This sculpt by Monster Atlas captures the Mindwitness in unsettling detail — a bloated, fleshy sphere ringed with writhing tentacles below and a crown of eyestalks above, each bulbous eye pointing in a different direction with cold, unblinking focus. The central eye dominates the body, its heavy lid pulled back in permanent, predatory awareness. Every wrinkle and fold in the creature's textured hide speaks to something fundamentally wrong about its existence — part aberrant intellect, part hungry void. Three render angles are available, showing the creature floating, rearing, and rotating to reveal the full unsettling silhouette from every side.

Whether you're dropping it into an Underdark campaign as a thrall-handler for an elder brain or using it as a centrepiece on your display shelf, this miniature carries the kind of presence that makes players pause when they see it hit the table.

Well-suited for adventurers who:

  • Run Underdark campaigns featuring mind flayer cults or elder brain lairs
  • Need a visually distinct aberration to distinguish from a standard beholder encounter
  • Collect aberration-type creatures for painting projects or display
  • Want a boss-level threat that reads immediately as dangerous and otherworldly

Encounter Hook:
The party's wizard is the first to notice — every member of the aboleth's former cult is moving in perfect unison, their eyes glassy and distant. Floating at the chamber's centre, surrounded by motionless thralls, the Mindwitness turns its great central eye slowly toward the door. It has been expecting them.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and base are separate pieces and can be attached with super glue — the decorative base is recommended as some models interact with it compositionally. Printed at high resolution; supports are removed before dispatch, though minor marks from the printing process may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up with a hobby knife or fine sandpaper. Ready for priming and painting, or use straight from the box.
