The Mind Pirate Captain is caught mid-lunge, coat billowing behind him as he drives forward with a curved cutlass in one hand while the other arm thrusts skyward — tentacles coiling about his forearm and hand, the unmistakable mark of aberrant corruption bleeding through from something far older than any sea chart. The sculpt radiates momentum: this is not a man standing still, this is a man — or what remains of one — pressing the attack.
The detail on the long, buttoned frock coat is exceptional, with layered fabric folds that catch paint beautifully whether you go for salt-faded seafarer tones or something more sinister to hint at the psionic influence beneath. The tricorn hat sits at a rakish angle, and the cutlass features a ornate basket hilt that rewards careful highlighting.
